Gratuitous Picture Of Yourself Wednesday - Bearded Edition
This is me auctioning and MCing at the Digital Angels charity event last week that raised nearly $4000 for Angel Flight. The beard was because I could never find the opportunity to “Go the Mo” for Movember with presentations, events and generally being scared of what the moustache only look would be like. So instead I enjoyed the laziness of not shaving for a month by growing a beard. Doing the auction was super fun. I used to be an auctioneer way back when I was at Uni and it had been five or so years since I last did even a charity auction.

So ummm yeah I’m new to this thing the people in magical Tumblrland call Gratuitous self-portrait Wednesday. Is that all I have to do? That was easy. Didn’t hurt and felt kinda nice. Sweet.
Update: the reason it looks like I live in a crazy WWE cage in a jungle somewhere is because I was/am at a late night cafe in Brisbane’s CBD bumming wifi and knocking back coffees. Still doesn’t explain why their roof is cage-like but you’ll have to visit to get a full impression of the place.
