aja: Google Trends shows that the world is far more interested in “cupcakes” than “financial crisis” (i.e. our impending inability to afford “cupcakes”.) BuzzFeed This is fantastic news and proves that the world be fine. We’re all so oblivious to the financial blackhole that we’ll spend ourselves away from it. No implosion of the monetary system as we know it and no returning to the barter system. Shame, I know a girl that makes a bitchin’ batch of cupcakes which from looking at this data could probably be traded for a large house or small island.
