This is really fucking lame. If you need to reblog into a “private group” it’s obviously because you are too fucking scared to share your opinion with everyone else, in which case, you shouldn’t be blogging at all, much less re-blogging. PUSSY.
That was me. I reblogged it into a “private group” that I use for myself as a bookmarks folder of stuff I think is well written. Sometimes I reblog posts from other tumblrs, other times I post articles from blogs or news sites. I don’t like posting someone else’s writing in full on my public tumblr account and I also don’t have to have an opposing opinion or profound further insights for every single fucking thing that has been written on the internet.
What is lame is the sanctimonious bullshit attitude amongst tumblr users over the last month or so about what is and isn’t acceptable on someone else’s tumblr. You’re posting too frequently, I don’t like your last.fm playlists, your reblog etiquette is poor, don’t tell us how many followers you have, somebody reblogged a post of mine into a private channel/group, rabble rabble rabble. People, get over yourselves. You use this blogging platform for what you want to use it for and I’ll use it for what I want to use it for.
