Bernard Salt is quickly becoming one of my favourite humans
For those that don’t know, Salt writes a column burried deep within The Australian’s business section every Thursday. He is a demographer, so basically just overloads readers with stats on what is happening in the big brown land. The most excellent thing is that he rips into anyone without fear or favour. Gen-Y, Baby Boomers, Men, Women, Property Developers, Politicians, it doesn’t matter. So long as the numbers add up he has a shot. Though, sometimes he just nails people because he can. This particular piece of gold is about Business Wankers.
BWs love nothing more than telling you how busy they are. Any innocent greeting is viewed as an opportunity for them to tellyou how pivotal they are to the operation of the Australian economy.
